On 22 June 2026, we brought together 50+ dealers in Kanpur — mostly from the nursery trade, along with partners from allied lines. We came to talk business; we left with something more valuable: stronger relationships.
A room full of partners
Kanpur is one of those markets where relationships are everything. The dealers who joined us run nurseries and garden-trade outlets that have served their neighbourhoods for years — and many have grown alongside Gardens Need. Getting 50+ of them in one room, face to face, is worth far more than any number of phone calls.
Training that dealers can use on Monday
We didn't want a day of slides. The sessions were practical and hands-on, built around what actually moves a dealer's business:
- Sales — how to read a walk-in customer, recommend the right planter, and turn a single purchase into a repeat one.
- Marketing — simple, low-cost ways to bring more customers in: Google Business Profile, WhatsApp, local visibility and display.
- Time management — separating the daily firefighting from the work that actually grows a shop, so owners spend their hours where it counts.
Games, gifts and a lucky draw
And we made sure it was fun. There were team games, plenty of laughter, gifts for everyone, and a lucky draw that had the whole room watching. We also walked dealers through the latest schemes and offers — clear, partner-friendly terms designed to protect their margins and reward the dealers who back the brand.
The real win: Yes, we booked orders. But the day was really about connection — the kind of trust that makes a dealer pick up the phone first, recommend you to a peer, and stay with you for the long run.
